What are we doing?
PixelGems is trying to make a difference by helping support breast cancer research, prevention and awareness. To do that, every website we do, we will donate a percentage of our production costs to the Breast Cancer division of the Canadian Cancer Society. Why are we supporting breast cancer?
Breast cancer has touched many lives, including ours. After losing both his mother and sister to this devastating disease, PixelGems' founder made the choice to implement this program.
"The key is prevention, funding programs that educate women to the risks, the need for regular screening and the benefits of healthy lifestyle choices. We also want to help the BC Cancer Society with the work they do helping women and their families when dealing with the stresses of cancer."
